Start a fulfilling and creative career in graphic design or photography at Box Hill Institute. Pursue your passion by deepening your understanding of colour, print, digital media, branding, instructional design, typography, web design, packaging and advertising. You will develop your use of design tools in Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign. Develop your skills in communication, respond to complex design briefs, undertake projects, implement solutions and manage them to completion. You’ll learn to plan, capture and evaluate photographic imagery. You’ll apply design theory and develop the ability to critically analyse and synthesise relevant information. Plus, create your own folio from a range of projects including commercial, domestic portrait, media, wedding, illustrative, institutional and art photography.
PATHWAYS
Certificate IV in Photography and Photo Imaging is a pathway into the Diploma of Photography and Photo Imaging.
Once you have successfully completed the Diploma of Photography and Photo Imaging, you can apply for further study in a university degree program.
